Local Government Town Hall of Spider Lake The Town of Spider Lake was formed in the year 1921. Since 1950, the town's population has steadily increased (the number of permanent residents in 2000 was nearly double that in 1950). Since 1967, Spider Lake has been the only township in Sawyer County to implement and administer its own comprehensive zoning and shoreline ordinance. Regular Town Hall Meetings - Days & Times Town Board Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm. Plan & Review Commission Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm. Citizens Annual Town Meeting is held on the second Tuesday in April at 7:00 pm.Other misc meetings and their regular scheduled times will be documented on the Events Page
